BASF has been recognised, once again, at 3M’s ‘Supplier of the Year Awards’.
This year, 3M recognised 16 suppliers — among thousands in its global supply base — for world-class performance in providing products and/or services.
These suppliers were identified and rated based on strategic spend, contract compliance, actions taken to improve 3M’s relevance and overall supplier performance (quality, delivery, responsiveness, cost and technology roadmaps).
An awards ceremony was held on October 3, 2018, at the 3M Innovation Center.
"3M is globally known throughout BASF as a strategic customer, and we are honoured to be recognised as 3M’s Supplier of the Year for Technology & Innovation,” said Alan Weinstein, BASF Global Key Account Manager & Customer Network Leader for 3M.
"This is a great achievement and is the result of BASF’s successful engagement with 3M’s diverse technology network, which was instrumental in creating a sustainable project pipeline.”
Peter Eckes, Executive Vice President, BASF, said, "This award represents the common mindset across both companies and strong cooperation between our global R&D organisations.
