Total Cray Valley (TCV) has started construction on its new C4 chemical manufacturing plant in Carling, France. TCV will use the plant to produce liquid polybutadiene. With the ability to produce several thousand tons of product/yr, the plant expands TCV’s global market leading position in polybutadiene production, both in volume and range of functionality. The plant is scheduled to go live in October 2016.
The facility is TCV’s fifth manufacturing plant for this product line, increasing its existing global distribution network and giving customers easier access to a supply of polybutadiene-based functional additives for a wide variety of markets and applications.
