Huntsman strengthens links with Cornelius

Cornelius Group, an independent European distributor of high quality, innovative raw materials to the industrial sector has strengthened its relationship with global chemicals manufacturer, Huntsman, after being chosen as its exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for their range of coloured pigments, dispersions and driers.

The appointment has seen Cornelius gain in excess of 100 new customers and enables the distributor to manage all distribution business for Huntsman Iron Oxide, Chrome Oxide Green, Colourplex, Solaplex, Cadmium Pigments, Tintersol, Timbasol, Durham and Nuodex Driers, and Exkin anti-skinning agents.

The products are used in a variety of industrial applications including coatings, plastics, adhesives and sealants.

Huntsman has restructured its routes to market following the acquisition of the colour pigments and driers business from Rockwood in 2014. Part of this restructuring has been the decision to work closer with Cornelius in the UK and Eire markets.
