- Wacker stays below prior-year figures amid lower selling prices in Q1
As of November 1, Wacker, the Munich-based chemical group, is raising its prices for silicone rubber in Europe, the Middle East and in the South America region.
Depending on the product group, region and business field, the price increase will range up to 40%, if permitted by existing customer contracts.
This measure is necessitated by rising production expenses due to energy and labour cost.
These price adjustments ensure that the Wacker Silicones business division continues to provide outstanding service and technical support along with consistently high product quality and technological innovations for its customers.
Wacker Silicones is one of the largest silicone manufacturers worldwide with over 3000 highly specialised and innovative products.
The division’s portfolio ranges from silicone fluids, emulsions, resins, elastomers and sealants to silanes, silane-terminated polymers and pyrogenic silica.
