BASF has received the AutomotiveINNOVATIONS Award 2016 as the most innovative supplier in the category ‘chassis, body and exterior’. One of the innovations the jury’s decision was based on is the world’s first top mount with a bearing and housing made of plastics. The ceremony took place on April 27, 2016, at PricewaterhouseCoopers AG (PwC) in Frankfurt.
The AutomotiveINNOVATIONS Award, which is hosted by PwC together with the Center of Automotive Management (CAM), is one of the most prestigious awards in the automotive industry. Since 2014, approximately 10 awards have been presented every year to OEMs and automotive suppliers with extraordinary innovation performance.
