BYK is preparing for a major digital event.
As one of the leading speciality chemicals suppliers, BYK is taking a look into the future of additives and coatings with various online formats on April 21, 2021.
Among other things, the programme will feature interesting discussions and presentations by BYK’s top management.
The participants will include CEO Dr Tammo Boinowitz, CTO Dr Jörg Hinnerwisch, Business Line Manager Coating Additives Dr Stefan Mössmer and many other additives experts from the End Use and Regulatory divisions.
Three subject areas will be given particular emphasis during the half-day event.
The event kicks off with "BYK’s contribution to more environmentally friendly coatings," followed by the "Roadmap through the regulatory landscape." The event ends with insights into "Global technology trends for coatings and inks".
The focus here will be on three new biocide-free wetting and dispersing additives: the DISPERBYK-BF series.
DISPERBYK-190 BF is a VOC- and solvent-free additive for aqueous printing inks, coatings and adhesives. DISPERBYK-199 BF is likewise VOC- and solvent-free and is outstandingly well suited for aqueous coatings, adhesives, pigment concentrates, as well as for care products for stabilising organic and inorganic pigments. DISPERBYK-2015 BF also has a very broad-based application profile (aqueous coatings, printing inks, adhesives, care products, for binder-free pigment concentrates).
"This Live Event is unique in the industry and is aimed, above all, at coating and paint manufacturers from all over the world. I am confident that many of our customers, as well as formulators from flanking industries, will derive a great deal of knowledge and excitement from this event,” explains Dr Anette Brüne, Manager Global Marketing & Sales Services at BYK.
Anybody can register free of charge via live.byk.com in order to secure a spot at this virtual event. Everything has also been thought of for those who cannot find a place in their diary on April 21, 2021. All presentations and discussion rounds will be recorded and made available on request. Here too, registration via live.byk.com is therefore, worthwhile.
