Connell Brothers, a division of Wilbur-Ellis Company and the largest marketer and distributor of speciality chemicals and industrial ingredients in Asia Pacific, has opened a technical and training centre in Guangzhou, China.
The centre will support the commercial and technical needs of customers in coatings and ink, food and personal care, in the South China market.
It will offer application development, formulations and testing, together with hands-on lab and classroom training for customers, suppliers and employees.
"This important investment is one of several planned across the region in line with our growth strategy,” said Azita Owlia, VP of North Asia. "We have an aggressive investment plan geared to ensure comprehensive market reach throughout North Asia for the speciality chemicals markets we serve.”
Connell Brothers also recently opened a newly expanded office in the Republic of Korea including an application laboratory specific for the personal care segment.
