The inaugural session of the new platform that arose from the unique partnership of JEC Group, Messe Augsburg and Carbon Composites promises to be very intense.
"The synergies of the 3 co-organisers have resulted in an event that is tailor-made to the local needs of the Industry but at an international scale. Indeed, companies, research centres and institutions from Europe, America and Asia have confirmed their participation and Augsburg will be the centre point for Composites professionals next September 21-23, 2016.”, explains Mrs Frédérique Mutel, JEC Group President & CEO. "Following our strategy to target end-users, this specific location will secure the participation of professionals from Industries, such as Aerospace, Automotive & Transport, Construction & Infrastructure, Machine & Plant Manufacturing, Medical Engineering and Wind Energy,” she adds.
The programme of events is packed with networking opportunities for every attendee. Alongisde the show floor filled with exhibitors and demo areas, pre-arranged B2B Meetings will help bring together composites offer and demand over the three days. Also, nine plant visits are being organised to give the participants a look behind the scenes of several companies and institutes, such as the University of Augsburg, Premium Aerotec, SGL Group, Technology Center Augsburg, MT Aerospace, ITA Augsburg, DLR, Frauenhofer Institute or again the University of Applied Science Augsburg.
Likewise, the Symposium of eight conferences including more than 60 speakers will gather experts and composites professionals around present composites developments and concerns in Automotive, Aerospace, Medical, Manufacturing, etc.
In the same spirit of maximising exchanges and connections, various get-togethers and informal celebrations are planned to turn this event into a true representation of the current and future composites industry.
