Flint Group launches VIVO colour solutions

16 August 2016

Following extensive dialogue with international packaging converters and brand owner partners, Flint Group is set to revolutionise print colour management with VIVO Colour Solutions, launched to the global market at drupa 2016.

VIVO is a digital solution with its foundations reaching back to 2010 when Flint Group began to build the essential elements of a robust and dynamic Colour Communication platform and service model.

It is innovative and unique in several ways: the inks, centrally manufactured, identical and consistent, ensure ink recipes are applicable across multiple customer sites and regions; the service provision is also centralised in the Global Colour Centre, which creates, distributes and manages colour, 24/7, across all four major print technologies; paper and board, flexible packaging, sheetfed and narrow web; and the digital communication platform, containing multiple software tools and digital downloads, all available via secure web-based access to brand owners and converters.

Stuart Duffy, Flint Group Sales Director – Business Services, Packaging and Narrow Web Division said: "Flint Group’s core business remains focused on supplying high performing inks, coatings and consumables to our global packaging converter partners, and VIVO, meaning ‘alive’ in Spanish, has been developed to complement that core business by addressing the needs of brand owners and our print partners to deliver global colour integrity.

"We have been overwhelmed by the positive reaction from our customers and international brand owners as our suite of solutions brings colour to life through several channels. In real terms we are able to create deliverable consistent colour management services throughout the entire colour work flow, on a global level and that’s not only very exciting, it’s a real breakthrough.”
