The ChemQuest Group, a global business strategy and external technology development firm with focus and expertise specific to the speciality chemicals markets, announces the addition of Mr. Bradley Boelkins as Vice President. Mr Boelkins joins ChemQuest after a successful 33-year career with tesa tape, inc. Starting at tesa in 1988 as a Product Manager for single-sided adhesive tapes, Mr. Boelkins has since grown to hold executive management positions and proven his expertise in sales, marketing, business development, executive management, and M&A.
Before retiring from tesa tape at the end of 2021, Mr Boelkins was a management team member and Director of Operations/M&A, a promotion he received in 2017. In this executive role, he was responsible for North American M&A buy-side activity where he strategically identified and engaged potential acquisition targets which led to multiple acquisitions. In addition to his M&A duties, Mr Boelkins was involved with crafting the North American tesa tape production vision, strategy and implementation, which included oversight of the company’s production, quality, and supply chain operations.
Mr Boelkins started his educational path at Calvin College where he received a dual Bachelor of Arts in German and Political Science. He continued his pursuit of German language skills and business at the graduate level at the University of Michigan, as well as the University of Salzburg, Austria.
His passion for the German language and culture extended beyond university with tesa, where he spent three years working in Hamburg, Germany as Global Business Unit Head. Continuing his education, Mr Boelkins received his MBA from Pfeiffer University. More recently Mr Boelkins has attended multiple professional development seminars including the Mergers and Acquisitions Seminar from the University of Chicago, and the Operational Excellence Seminar at Northwestern University.
