"AkzoNobel is renowned for its long-standing tradition in innovation. Together, we hope to create more new products and technologies, bringing new inspirations and possibilities to the entire industry and the world.”

"Conversations with AkzoNobel’s expert team have shown us that we share the same vision in terms of digital transformation. We really look forward to painting the future together.”

The Paint the Future China startup challenge made powerful connections with pioneering entrepreneurs and thriving innovation groups in China over the past 10 months. They have all been welcomed into the growing Paint the Future open innovation ecosystem, joining startups, academia, research institutes and suppliers across industry sectors in a global effort to accelerate, test, launch and scale ideas and solutions.

First launched by AkzoNobel in 2019, Paint the Future’s collaborative innovation programmes have already resulted in 18 successful collaborations. As the ecosystem continues to grow and build on the success of each programme, it’s become the largest in the industry.
