Gelest, Inc has promoted Edward Kimble to Vice-President of Product Management. Reporting to Joel Zazyczny, Executive Vice President, Kimble leads the Product Management team for the Silane, Silicone, and Metal-Organic Product lines, with a primary focus on product marketing, product demand, and on developing pricing strategies that drive company profitability.
"Ed and his team (Greg Hertenberger, Product Manager Silanes and Jeff DePinto, Product Manager Metal-Organics and Research Products) will work closely with sales, marketing, customer service, procurement, logistics, finance, R&D, technical service and manufacturing to ensure customer satisfaction in tandem with meeting the yearly goals established for product line, product revenue and profitability,” said Zazyczny.
Kimble’s promotion follows a successful five-year tenure as Gelest’s Product Manager for Silicones and Performance Products. An 18-year veteran of Gelest, Kimble previously served as Applications and Polymer Development Manager, Production Chemical Group Supervisor, and Process Development Chemist.
