Close collaboration with strategic suppliers is a key success factor for Henkel Adhesive Technologies to drive powerful innovations and provide best-in-class service to its customers. The company recognises outstanding performance with three annual awards: ‘Supply Performance’, ‘Supplier Innovation’ and ‘Supplier Sustainability’.
Awards were presented during a ceremony held in Berlin in mid-September. Winners were: • Supply Performance Award: BASF, the world’s biggest chemical company, due to its extensive effort to supply punctual and reliable raw materials of the very best quality.
• Supplier Innovation Award: Kaneka, a Japanese company that provides a broad range of polymers, proactively gives Henkel access to its innovations, to open up and explore new paths together.
• Sustainability Award: Dow Corning for its ongoing efforts to optimise processes with regard to sustainability. It proactively addresses topics, such as logistics and waste reduction and develops new concepts together with Henkel.
