IGP Pulvertechnik AG has announced that it will strengthen its activities in Eastern Europe and will invest in excess of CHF15M in a local production site in Poland.
"This investment is an important step for the future of our company. We create conditions for further growth and strengthen our position as an international partner for innovative powder coating solutions,” said Marc Züllig, CEO of IGP Pulvertechnik AG. "A great demand exists in the market for wood-coating, especially in Eastern Europe and a very good growth potential is seen in this new strategic market segment,” he added.
Start-up of the new plant is scheduled for the first half year of 2017. Fully equipped, the plant will employ around 100 people in Poland. The company employs around 300 at its headquarters and production site in Wil.
