Meet the Lomon Billions TiO2pigment experts at ECS 2019 in Nuremberg, Germany from March 19-21.
Lomon Billions exhibition stand number is 9-444 in Hall 9.
Promoting world class, high-performance, and specialist TiO2 pigments for coatings
The company will be promoting its range of world class, high-performance, and specialist LOMON® and BILLIONS® TiO2 pigments for coatings and inks including the highly durable LOMON R-996 pigment for interior and exterior coatings, the world class BILLIONS TR52 pigment for printing inks and the new BILLIONS BLR-895 pigment for coatings.
"We’ve been manufacturing our TiO2 pigments for 30 years,” said Julie Reid, Marketing Director.
"We make our pigments using both the sulphate and chloride process.
"Our latest pigment for coatings is BILLIONS BLR-895 pigment, developed through consultation with our customers and made using the chloride process for excellent all-round performance in coatings.”
Two new chloride TiO2 pigment manufacturing lines
"We’re investing US$millions to expand our chloride TiO2 pigment manufacturing capacity in 2019,” said Julie.
"In February 2018, our board of directors approved a RMB1.8bn (~US$285million) investment in additional chloride titanium dioxide pigment production capacity at our chloride production site in Jiaozuo, Henan Province, China.
"Two new chloride TiO2 pigment manufacturing lines are under construction that will provide an additional annual chloride TiO2 pigment manufacturing capacity of around 200,000t.
"Commercial production from the new lines will begin this year.”
Increased chloride TiO2 pigment portfolio will help strengthen global competitiveness
"This investment in additional chloride capacity at Jiaozuo will allow Lomon Billions to increase its chloride TiO2 pigment portfolio to manufacture more high-performance chloride TiO2 pigments for a wider range of applications,” said Bruce Griffin, Senior Vice President for Strategic Development.
"It will help strengthen our global competitiveness.”
The company is currently developing new chloride TiO2chloride pigments at its 12,000m2technology centre and chloride manufacturing facility in Jiaozuo that will be launched when its additional chloride manufacturing lines are available.
Lomon Billions manufactures high performance sulphate and chloride TiO2 pigments for all major coatings and inks applications.
Its TiO2 pigment experts will be at the ECS again this year.
