Michelman is pleased to announce the hiring of Mr Andrew Michelman as its new Director of Business Development. Mr Michelman will be responsible for supporting the company’s aggressive strategic growth initiatives globally. He will work closely with Michelman’s Corporate Development team that is engaged in acquisitions, joint ventures and all non-organic growth of the company. Mr Michelman’s duties will include working with external advisors, as well as associates throughout Michelman, to identify acquisition opportunities. He will then be responsible for all aspects of closure among identified opportunities including due diligence, financing, investment analysis, negotiations and integration of key acquisition targets.
Mr Michelman brings 20 years of global acquisition experience having worked extensively throughout the USA, Europe and Asia. He has worked in Investment Banking with Citigroup in New York and London, and in a Strategy and Corporate Development role with Europe based manufacturer, Vaillant Group. He most recently served as a principal of a private equity investment group located in Birmingham and London. He has also served on Michelman’s Board of Directors since 1999.
