AkzoNobel has published its digital 2020 annual report, which highlights how the company delivered on its Winning together: 15 by 20 ambition and has now entered the next phase of its ongoing transformation.
The dedicated Report 2020 website offers comprehensive coverage of the company’s financial results, key business developments and the progress that has been made in areas such as sustainability and innovation. Several case studies – with related videos – also feature prominently.
In his CEO statement, Thierry Vanlancker says that despite the odds being stacked against the company, AkzoNobel reacted quickly to the significant challenges posed by COVID-19 during the year and reached a significant milestone.
"All our hard work during the last three years paid off and we reached our Winning together: 15 by 20 ambition, despite the unparalleled headwinds. The fact that we weathered the storm so well demonstrates our new-found resilience and I’m extremely proud of how we continued to look after our customers and performed together as an organisation.”
Sustainability is integrated throughout the online report, which includes an extensive section structured around the company’s "People. Planet. Paint.” ambitions and approach to sustainable business. There’s also an in-depth look at AkzoNobel’s Grow & Deliver strategy and details of the new company purpose.
Packed with interactive content and infographics, the digital report opens with a user-friendly home page, while intuitive functionality makes it easy to access information. Visitors can also make use of handy tools to compare key data and download tables.
Continues Vanlancker: "It’s been a tough journey at times, but everyone persevered and I’m really proud of what we’ve shown the world this year.”
