Nouryon announces recipients of 2022 Supplier of the Year Awards

Nouryon recently recognised nine of its top global sourcing partners through its annual 2022 Supplier of the Year Awards event held in Rome, Italy. The awards recognise outstanding global suppliers that distinguished themselves by contributing to Nouryon’s leading position in speciality chemicals and exceed expectations.

Suppliers are identified and rated based on strategic spend, shared commitment to innovation and sustainability, overall supplier performance and actions taken to improve Nouryon’s competitiveness. Award recipients were recognised for outstanding performance in three categories: Innovation, Reliability and Sustainability.

Innovation

The award recognises suppliers for demonstrating creative and alternative solutions to a process or technology and shows its transformative potential to deliver value to Nouryon.

Award recipients were recognised for exceptional supply reliability, collaboration, and close partnership with Nouryon while facing a challenging supply and demand environment.

Sustainability

The award recognises suppliers who share and support Nouryon’s high sustainability standards as measured in the EcoVadis Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) platform. The platform assesses and tracks the sustainability performance of suppliers based on their policies, actions, and results.

In 2022, Nouryon was awarded a Platinum rating by EcoVadis for its sustainability achievements. This rating places Nouryon in the top 1% of companies assessed by the global sustainability ratings provider.
