Oliver + Batlle presents its versatile Mill-ennium RS basket mill at MECS 2017

16 January 2017

As every year, Oliver+Batlle cannot miss the Middle East Coatings Shows in Dubai (UAE), the largest coatings event for Middle East and Gulf Region. At this edition, Oliver + Batlle will exhibit the Mill-ennium RS basket mill at stand B15. Manufacturing process automation and versatility with a fresh and modern design.

Mill-ennium RS has a great batch flexibility and efficiency. Options include a vertical helicoidal scraper for vessel side-wall and bottom scraping combined with efficient product mixing, which allows the Mill-ennium RS to process from low to very high viscosities up to 6.000 P.

In addition, the basket mill is equipped with the control software Obmatic Mill, specially developed in-house to provide the right level of automation to meet the individual needs of the customer in his manufacturing process.

Mill-ennium RS can be equipped with three different control systems:

Version S: an essential control panel with pushbuttons for the manual operation of the mill.
Version A: a touch screen with Obmatic Mill control system which allows the operator to manage, either manually or automatically, the manufacturing process by setting time or kW set-points. It allows the mill set-up and the supervision of the operation and aids maintenance planning. This software version reduces downtime by allowing the machine to perform the process in an autonomous manner. Any irregular situation is detected by the alarm system.
Version CP: all the advantages of the version A plus the ability to create, store and launch manufacturing recipes. This provides the mill with the highest level of automation. Optimized and repeatable processes are always achieved without need to rely on the operator’s experience in grinding the product.

From March 13-15, 2017, Mill-ennium RS basket mill is exhibited at the Middle East Coatings Show in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, at Oliver+Batlle stand B15.
