New MD for BASF in the UK & Ireland

BASF has appointed Richard John Carter as VP in charge of BASF’s UK/Ireland Unit and MD of BASF companies in the UK and Ireland. Previously he was VP, Global Key Account Management for BASF’s Home & Personal Care Business in Europe & Asia Pacific. Dr Darren Budd has been appointed Commercial Director of the new UK & Ireland Country Cluster. Changes at Clariant

Clariant’s Board of Directors will propose the election of Eveline Saupper, Claudia Suessmuth Dyckerhoff and Peter Steiner to the Board of Directors, subject to the approval of the Annual General Meeting of Clariant Ltd taking place on April 21, 2016. With the addition of the suggested new members, Clariant will expand its Board of Directors from nine to 10 members, while replacing Peter R Isler and Dominik Koechlin.

Ad Smolders joins Reverdia

Reverdia has announced that Ad Smolders has joined the company as Operations Director. Smolders previously worked at DSM for 17 years in various international technology and manufacturing assignments.

PPG announces executive appointment

PPG announced that Radhika Batra has joined the company as VP, Purchasing and Logistics, effective March 7. Steve Lampe, former PPG VP, Purchasing and Logistics, has announced he will retire May 1. Batra was previously VP, Global Supply Management, at BorgWarner Turbo Systems, Michigan, USA.
