The future’s coming. Get prepared!

28 July 2015

FEICA’s 2015 European Adhesive and Sealant Conference & Expo takes place in Vilamoura, Portugal, from September 9-11. Attracting more than 550 delegates from 31 countries in 2014, the Conference has established itself as the premier event for Europe’s adhesive and sealant industry. Delegates gain an in-depth understanding of the key issues affecting the industry and can look forward to ample networking opportunities to discuss the latest trends and wider business environment. For full details, visit the Conference website: http://www.feica-conferences.com.
The theme for the Business Forum at this year’s event, which takes place on the opening morning, is ‘Changing Industries – Future Focus’. It will provide delegates with indispensable insights into the rapidly changing business environment and its implications for the adhesive and sealant industry.

Outstanding keynote speakers to bring the subject to life
FEICA has once again secured outstanding key note speakers for the Business Forum: Kai Bandilla, Managing Partner, Simon-Kucher & Partners and Jim Lawless, acknowledged expert on Change and Team Motivation. Kai has many years’ experience consulting on price strategy, price setting and price process issues, covering a large number of industries (industrial, automotive, services, tourism, banking and FMCGs). He will focus on value creation and capturing value in a rapidly changing business environment. Jim is a highly sought-after speaker and is the only authority on change and personal development to have put his life on the line to prove his theories. He will discuss change in his own uniquely entertaining way.

Learn from the CEOs of successful SMEs in the panel discussion
Following on from the success of last year’s panel discussion, FEICA has once again invited four successful CEOs from the industry to take part in the discussion. This year though, the CEOs are the heads of four successful SMEs in the adhesive and sealant industry. They will each give a short presentation on what makes their company so successful. Kai Bandilla and Jim Lawless will then join them on stage for the panel discussion.

Customise your Conference programme with parallel sessions
Parallel Break-Out Sessions on Thursday September 10 and Friday September 11, 2015 will allow delegates to construct a conference programme that perfectly meets their needs and interests. Choose from sessions on topics such as: Innovation, New Opportunities and Ideas, Technological Breakthroughs, Research & Development, New Product and Market Applications, New Equipment Technology, Sustainable Development and Regulatory Impact on the Industry.

Opportunities for suppliers to shine
Suppliers to the adhesive and sealant industry have a number of ways to profile themselves in front of this audience of key decision-makers. They can exhibit at the tabletop exhibition and they can also make a pitch at the ‘Gecko’s Den’, in which suppliers have a maximum of 10min to pitch their product or service to the attendees. Those familiar with the popular Dragon’s Den TV franchise will know that the presenters will have to be concise, creative and benefits-focused to make an impact.

Enjoy a varied social programme
Once again, the FEICA Conference & Expo offers a range of social events, such as the Gala Dinner and Welcome Cocktail Reception, to ensure that delegates are able to network with their peers in a relaxed environment. There is also an ‘accompanying partners programme’, which offers the opportunity for delegates’ partners to select from a range of interesting excursions in the region.
