DRT has launched a water-based dispersion: Dermulsene RE 1513. Particularly suitable for the formulation of labels and tapes, a fast growing market evolving with the important needs in traceability, this tackifying resin has been developed by the specialist of pine chemistry and offers a real alternative to the use of fossil resources.

Dermulsene RE 1513 is part of DRT’s range of water-based dispersions: the largest bio-sourced range in the world. Offering a balance between adhesive and cohesive properties, this efficient tackifying resin offers an alternative to those who want to avoid the use of products containing solvents. Dermulsenes are especially recommended for pressure sensitive adhesives and are particularly cost-effective for high-volume production.

Dedicated to adhesive, construction, general assembly or DIY markets, DRT’s resins answer the specific needs of these evolving markets. Specialised in plant-based chemistry, DRT develops rosin and turpentine derivatives extracted from pine trees and supplies more than 20 industrial sectors. www.drt.fr
