The Superyacht Agency is investigating the current superyacht paint and coatings sector and its market perception and wants to hear from coatings professionals about your opinion on the industry.
Coating systems are a pivotal part of the performance and aesthetic of the superyacht fleet. The technology behind them has come a long way, and the key stakeholders are competing fiercely for a lucrative but relatively limited market of highly decerning clients while in the background, an encroaching set of environmental regulations is shaping the next generation of coatings systems.
While it is dynamic, the market landscape is still dominated by a small number of companies. The Superyacht Agency is undertaking a detailed analysis of the market perception of coating system suppliers. It is seeking input from the coatings sector, senior crew, yacht managers, shipyards, owners’ representatives and consultants for our analysis.
