X-Rite brings colour management solutions to Fakuma 2015

01 October 2015

X-Rite Incorporated and its subsidiary Pantone LLC, will be showcasing its range of colour management solutions at Fakuma 2015, taking place from October 13 to 17 in Friedrichshafen, Germany. Fakuma is one of the leading trade shows in the plastics industry and X-Rite will be there to show how its products keep pace with the complex demands of this industry. X-Rite Pantone will be demonstrating products that enable users to meet the most stringent color specifications, avoid costly rework, and ensure customer satisfaction. X-Rite Pantone’s complete range of solutions, along with special discounts and promotions, will be on display in booth B5-5108 at Fakuma.

"From color inspiration through to the final product, successfully managing color is a critical part of plastics production. That’s why X-Rite Pantone has developed an extensive range of products for this market. These solutions support consistent color accuracy and enable seamless communication of color data throughout the plastics supply chain. We look forward to Fakuma and to hearing how these solutions make users more successful,” says Francesco Tomasello, VP Sales & Marketing EMEA at X-Rite.

New Judge QC Light Booth

Fakuma visitors will be among the first to see the new Judge QC Light Booth. This new booth gives plastics companies a way to better simulate and evaluate colours under a range of lighting conditions. The Judge QC features five light sources, so users can easily switch to the lighting source that is right for their industry and the samples they are evaluating.

Using the Judge QC, quality control professionals in the plastics industry will be able to accurately evaluate incoming materials, samples and final products for colour consistency and physical defects.

Colour Management Solutions

At Fakuma, X-Rite will also be showcasing additional products that ensure colour consistency throughout the plastics supply chain. These products include:

Ci7600/Ci7800

The Ci7800 and Ci7600 set a new standard for measuring, managing and communicating color data across the plastics supply chain. These next generation spectrophotometers deliver consistent, exacting performance along with a detailed audit trail.

ERX130

The ERX130 is an automated in-line quality control system that provides non-contact measurement and continuous reporting of comparisons to specific standards or absolute color measurements. Measurements can be taken on virtually any material, and the instrument is designed to work in even the harshest production environments. This system enables users to measure the color of plastic pellets at the earliest stage possible in order to prevent color deviation.

Pantone for Plastics

Pantone’s range of plastic-specific color specification and matching tools support both creativity and control in plastics supply chain – from design through to production.
