Teknos has signed an agreement to acquire the industrial business of Feidal Coatings. The contract was signed on May 11, 2016 and the acquisition is expected to take place in mid-June.
Feidal Coatings Germany is a privately owned active in the areas of industrial coatings and decorative paints. Feidal’s industrial division generated net sales of approximately €18M and employs 80 people. The acquisition includes Feidal GmbH & Co KG in Bruggen, Germany and the industrial business of Feidal Polska SP.z.o.o. Industrial coatings for metal will continue to be produced at the company’s site in Bruggen.
Teknos has a production site in Fulda, Germany. In the future, the newly acquired and existing Teknos Germany plants will work closely together.
