ABRAFATI and NürnbergMesse Brazil strike strategic partnership

14 March 2019

Starting in 2019, ABRAFATI (the Brazilian Coatings Manufacturers Association) and NürnbergMesse are partnering together to combine the events that ABRAFATI has held every two years for 15 editions: the International Coatings Congress and International Exhibition of Coatings Industry Suppliers.

This year, the two events will be rolled into ABRAFATI 2019, set to take place on October 1-3 at São Paulo Expo.

The ABRAFATI event is renowned as one of the most important of its kind around the world.

It has gained appreciation thanks to the quality of its programme and for bringing together leading companies and thousands of professionals, which has had positive effects on the Brazilian and Latin American industries over the course of time in terms of both business and technological evolution.

"The partnership with NürnbergMesse starts in this edition and it will be a major factor to add this company’s expertise to a trade show that already is very successful, making it take a qualitative leap and reflect the most innovative of developments in existence around the globe,” ABRAFATI Executive President Antonio Carlos de Oliveira explained.

The NürnbergMesse group is one of the world’s leading organisers of trade fairs, whose portfolio stands out for covering more than 120 international exhibitions and congresses hosted in various parts of the world.

Antonio Carlos pointed out that it takes care of more than 30,000 exhibitors each year as they contribute to stimulating production, finding the best solutions for their customers and boosting the industry’s economy — goals that are a perfect match to those of ABRAFATI’s event.

Antonio Carlos de Oliveira underscored that the partnership commencing now is also very important to ABRAFATI’s mission.

"It brings a broad and valuable contribution to our continuing to boost growth and sustainable development in the coatings industry in Brazil by enhancing its quality and capability development with consumer recognition,” he concluded.
