The British Coatings Federation (BCF) welcomed the news that the Coatings Training Institute (CTI), run by the BCF, has become a Cogent Skills Assured Provider for Apprenticeships for the full suite of more than 60 Training Modules specific to the sector.
The assured network is aimed at ensuring high quality training across the entire science sector, promoting the availability of employer-backed training solutions, supporting new entrants into the sector. The CTI courses form part of the Apprenticeship offer, which Cogent Skills has developed, with the BCF. BCF’s CE, Tom Bowtell said: "This is great news because it will allow Apprenticeship funding for coatings specific courses for BCF members who sign up for the Science Industry Partnership, which is administered by Cogent”.
