Evonik Industries has commissioned its hydroxyl terminated polybutadiene (HTPB) manufacturing plant in Marl in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Built with a mid-double-digit €1M investment, the facility will produce HTPB, to be sold under the Polyvest HT brand.
Polyvest HT is used in sealing compounds for insulating glass windows and adhesives for automotive construction
The investment strengthens the company’s presence in the adhesive and sealants segment and expands its polybutadienes portfolio.
