Powder characterisation specialist, Freeman Technology, continues to expand global operations with the establishment of a representative office in China and the appointment of Joey Xie as Product Manager and Chief Representative. Based in Shanghai, Joey adds a wealth of experience to the Freeman Technology team and will manage sales and marketing activities, as well as further extending support for existing users in the region.

The provision of a local operation allows us to continue delivering the benefits of our technology to a wider audience.”
The expansion into China follows on from the establishment of new distribution partnerships in Brazil, with Dafratec and in Malaysia and Singapore, with Research Instruments. These distributors will work with prospective users from all industries and take responsibility for applications support and service for the growing number of FT4 Powder Rheometerusers in these territories.
Steve Evans has also joined the Freeman Technology team in the role of Global Sales & Marketing Manager.
