Henkel, know-how as a key ingredient in the production of diapers, feminine hygiene products and pet care products, has been partnering with Unicharm, a leading Japanese manufacturer of these products for more than 15 years. Recently, this key Henkel global account recognised Henkel with a Quality Award for being a business enabler with customised solutions and outstanding quality performance. Early in September 2014, it also awarded Henkel No 1 Best Supplier for superior quality and service. Japan-based Unicharm mostly has operations in the Asia Pacific region, to which Henkel’s Dragon Plant, the world’s largest adhesive plant, is uniquely positioned to fulfil its growing demand and customised needs.
Last year, this was just one example of numerous prizes from customers and institutions received by Henkel. Another example is the coveted Strategic Supplier Award recently granted by Singapore-based technology company Flextronics International Ltd., a leading manufacturer of electronic components.
