IMCD NV, a leading speciality chemicals and food ingredients distributor, is expanding its technical capabilities with the addition of two Coatings & Construction laboratories; one in Tangerang, Indonesia and one in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
The primary focus of the new laboratories will be to support customers and suppliers, offering formulation guidance, innovative solutions to overcome technical challenges and product performance testing.
The laboratories are fully equipped with the necessary apparatus for testing and formulation development.
Philippe Russo, Regional Director SEA, IMCD Asia commented: "IMCD is delighted to launch these Coatings & Construction application laboratories in Indonesia and Malaysia.
"These facilities will allow us to build on the technical service we deliver to our partners in the SEA region and will provide us with the means to fully explore and showcase the synergies between the top quality raw materials of our principals.
"The labs will also assist us in training the IMCD Coatings & Construction sales force in Indonesia, Malaysia and the surrounding regions to further develop their skills and knowledge.”
These new facilities join IMCD’s existing international network of laboratories for the Coatings & Construction, Personal Care, Lubricants, Home Care and I&I, Food & Nutrition and Pharmaceutical Business Groups.
IMCD now runs 39 laboratories across all continents where it operates.
