Sun Chemical’s Joe Rosati, Manager, Project Quality in the company’s Color Materials division, has received a 2022 Pioneer Award from the Metropolitan New York Coatings Association.
The award recognises an individual MNYCA member or employee of a member company for 25,40, and 50 years of contributions to the advancement of the protective coatings industry. The Pioneer Award honours his 40+ years of service.
Since joining Sun Chemical in 2000, Rosati has held several leadership positions in quality, manufacturing, and technical service organisations. He led the Color Materials division’s technical service group from 2017 until November 2022, when he was appointed Manager, Project Quality, Color Materials. He has made numerous technical contributions in the fields of automotive, architectural, and general industrial coatings.
"Joe is an excellent candidate for the Pioneer Award,” said Aaron Hollman, Vice President of Sales, Color Materials, Sun Chemical. "He has worked tirelessly to advance the protective coatings industry and made significant contributions in areas such as R&D, quality control, technical support, and customer service at Sun Chemical. He is more than deserving of the honour.”
The Pioneer Award was presented to Joe Rosati during a ceremony held on December 1, 2022.
