Kapci Coatings, a leading Egyptian manufacturer of car refinishing coatings, has sponsored Mohamed Hamdy, also known as “The Egyptian Pharaoh,” in the upcoming Ferrari Challenge Europe 2023 races.
This sponsorship agreement represents Kapci Coatings’ commitment to motorsport and its belief in the power of such events to engage and communicate with large audiences.
The signing ceremony, attended by Kapci’s board of directors, managers, employees, and Tamer Bashir, a renowned TV producer, commenced with a speech from Khaled Sorour, International Business Senior Manager. Sorour highlighted the strategic significance of this sponsorship agreement and the targets and steps that Kapci Coatings will take to support Hamdy in his journey towards success.
In his presentation, Ahmed Balbola, International Marketing Manager, reviewed Kapci’s sponsorship history, emphasising the company’s commitment to supporting local drivers and contributing to the development of the motorsport industry in Egypt. From sponsoring the Honda Day event to assembling racing teams for drift, speed, and rally, and sponsoring the Dubai Racing Team in F3 Asia, Kapci has a proven track record of supporting ambitious drivers and fostering their careers.
After the signing of the sponsorship contracts, Amr Elsayed, commercial director, expressed his delight at partnering with such a promising and passionate driver like Mohamed Hamdy. He emphasised Kapci’s commitment to setting and maintaining standards of excellence, as well as its focus on customer satisfaction. This sponsorship, he added, would bring mutual benefits to both parties involved, and Kapci looks forward to supporting Hamdy as he makes history as the first Egyptian driver to join the Ferrari racing team.
