With its takeover of ICH Benelux BV, Krahn Chemie GmbH has significantly expanded its market position in the distribution of speciality chemicals.
ICH Benelux was established in 1979 with headquarters in Wormerveer, The Netherlands. The company group also includes the subsidiaries Technoplan Farbtechnik GmbH & Co KG in Bottrop, Germany and ICH Poland SP zoo in Poznan, Poland.
With 35 employees, the ICH Group has its focus on the coatings industry, which it supplies with high quality raw materials and a comprehensive range of technical services.
The acquisition of ICH Benelux enables Krahn to develop its regional position in Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg, enhance its existing product portfolio and also strengthens the sales team in the European key markets Germany and Poland.
A significant strengthening of Krahn’s services for the coatings industry is the integration of Technoplan and its extensive technical service and in-house laboratory capabilities. Technoplan offers customers tailor-made solutions, for example the optimisation of formulations and the development of tinting systems.
