Nissin Chemical of Japan and Shin-Etsu MicroSi of Phoenix, USA, have introduced two solution vinyl resin products, key components in the manufacturing of paints, coatings, inks, adhesives and films. Both companies are wholly owned subsidiaries of Shin-Etsu Chemical.
The Vinyblan series is a groundbreaking water-based emulsion developed using the company’s unique polymerisation technology. It leverages the features of vinyl chloride to provide: excellent adhesion; colourant dispersion; flame resistance; chemical stability with other emulsions and water-based environmentally friendly emulsion.
The Solbin series is a modified copolymer resin combining the toughness of vinyl chloride with the strong adhesiveness and plasticity of vinyl acetate.
