On the back of its Americas success the company is lining up a series of innovative speciality products for the region’s coatings market, such as their Capa thermoplastics and polyols, to meet the emerging needs of today and tomorrow.
As the market matures for sustainable products, high performance PU coatings and PUD’s, Perstorp has a winning portfolio ready to meet the anticipated future demand.
Perstorp is also the global number one supplier of Penta, Di-Penta and TMP and is ready to take a leading position in Neopentyl Glycol too through the recent investment in additional global production capacity. These essential building block products have both strengthened and secured Perstorp’s position as the world’s number one supplier of high quality polyols to the fast growth synthetic lubricants market, as well as rosin esters and radcure coating applications.
The latest winning formulas at ACS 2014
One winning product series on show at the ACS will be Capa, Perstorp’s caprolactone technology. This includes Capa polyols, which are important performance enhancers for premium PU coatings and stoving enamels, as well as for PU elastomer, such as TPU. Capa for PUD’s, is also growing quickly and is being particularly successful in leather and textile applications.
80% of Perstorp’s R&D expenditure goes into finding more sustainable solutions. As the demand for sustainablesolutions grows, Perstorp’s Americas customers will be well placed to take full advantage – locally and globally.
Whether it is Voxtar the world’s first renewable Penta, or halogen-free architectural fire protection with our Charmor range for intumescent coatings or Capa polyols for low VOC durable PU coatings Perstorp is ready and waiting. The American Coatings Show provides the perfect opportunity to find out more.
