Praise for AkzoNobel as coatings withstand rigours of Motorrad test

10 March 2014

AkzoNobel’s coatings drew praise from German motorbike magazine Motorrad following a rigorous long-distance road test of a Honda CBR600F.

The bike was subjected to a 50,000km test, after which it was taken apart so that any wear and tear could be assessed.

Not a single defect or unscheduled stop was recorded during the Honda CBR600F test, putting it at the top of Motorrad’s all-time long-term test list.
AkzoNobel Specialty Finishes has been the major coatings supplier at the Honda Atessa site in Italy, where the CBR600F is produced, for more than 20 years.
