Air Products, a leading global supplier of performance materials, has recently won the 2014 Ringier Technology Innovation Awards for the Coating Industry in China for its Dynol 960 and Dynol 980 superwetting surfactants.
As a global leader of water-based technology for speciality additives, Air Products has received this prestigious award for the fourth consecutive year.
Designed to maximise wetting of difficult-to-wet substrates for a wide range of aqueous formulations, the superwetting surfactants can help formulators to meet increasingly stringent environmental standards and improve product performance. They provide a superior balance of properties including both equilibrium and dynamic wetting, system compatibility and low foam, compared to traditional siloxane surfactants.
While bringing the advantages of containing no added hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEs) or volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
Dynol 960 and Dynol 980 surfactants provide exceptional performance in high-quality waterborne wood coatings, plastic coatings, metal coatings and printing inks.
