Soudal has announced it has acquired Accumetric LLC. The acquisition reportedly marks another step forward in Soudal’s plan to become a recognised supplier of adhesives and sealants to the Americas and to expand its presence in the Southeast Asia markets.
The American headquarters of Soudal Inc will move to Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
As a result, the turnover of Soudal will reportedly increase by more than 7%, which will bring consolidated total sales to in excees of US$800M in 2014. In addition, Soudal reportedly intends to continue to develop Accumetric’s Elizabethtown production plant, with planned future investments in building and equipment of US$21M.
