Troy Corporation, founded in 1950, a leading manufacturer and supplier of preservatives and performance additives worldwide, has announced expansion of its facilities to serve the Asia Pacific market.
A dedicated supplier to the Asia Pacific coatings industry since 1970, it has manufactured products in Asia since 1997. "Troy is committed to its customers in Asia and has recently made further significant investments in the region, including the expansion of logistics, manufacturing, technical service and R&D capabilities,” said Daryl Smith, President & CEO of Troy.
Troy recently unveiled a 1500m2 state-of-the-art logistics centre to service customers in Asia. The company has also doubled the size of its Thailand manufacturing site, significantly increasing the versatility and capacity of production. In Q1, 2013, Troy will inaugurate a new technical service and R&D centre located near Bangkok International Airport. "The facility constitutes a major expansion of laboratory facilities for new product development, technical service and field testing,” said Smith.
Troy continues to provide performance products and services that enable the region’s manufacturers to achieve exceptional growth. In addition to Polyphase dry-film fungicides, which are ideally suited to Asia tropical climates, it is also introducing ‘green’, wet-state preservatives and performance additives for the region. Additionally, innovations in controlled release technologies are now being made available to meet performance needs of the industry.
