Vencorex will be present at ECS 2015

Vencorex, the owner of key technologies and a major manufacturer of aromatic and aliphatic isocyanates for the polyurethane markets, will present at European Coatings Show 2015, April 21-23 (Hall 4 Stand 660) a wide range of isocyanates and solutions to develop more environmentally-friendly technologies such as:

Tolonate aliphatic polyisocyanates crosslinkers for high-performance polyurethane coatings & adhesives, which offer exceptional durability and non-yellowing properties upon ageing, with high solids, low VOC options,
Based on a unique patented technology, the Easaqua grades are self-emulsifiable polyisocyanates, used as crosslinkers of efficient environmentally-friendly waterborne polyurethane alternatives to conventional solvent-based coatings,
HDI and IPDI isocyanate monomers, essential building blocks for polyurethane dispersions (PUD)
Scuranate TDI aromatic isocyanate for CASE applications

Vencorex presented in 2014 its long term strategy. This strategy is based on focusing its activities toward speciality isocyanates. (HDI, IPDI, derivatives and new products).

Vencorex objectives are to strengthen its worldwide position in Aliphatic Isocyanates business in offering new high value products, reliable services and providing advanced technology to answer market¹s needs in various industries.
To achieve this long term ambition, Vencorex is enhancing its footprint on production capabilities, commercial activities and R&D innovation towards the following configuration:

Expansion of the HDI monomer capacity by 70,000t and 20,000t of IPDI monomers in Pont de Claix, France.
New derivative unit, Tolonate, with 12,000t initial capacity in Rayong, Thailand starting in mid-2015.
Investments in a new production line of polyisocyanates, Easaqua, for waterborne PU coatings in Freeport, Texas, USA.
The global Sales & Marketing organisation strengthened to capture growth opportunities and better serve international customers.
R&D capabilities in France to be further developed to support this strategy through the innovation of new products and applications.

With all these initiatives, Vencorex started implementation of several industrial projects with the objective to sustain its position as a leading global partner for specialty isocyanates in the coming years. Vencorex’s strategic ambition is supported by both its shareholders: PTTGC and Perstorp.
