Wacker Chemie AG’s Supervisory Board has re-appointed Auguste Willems (59) to the Executive Board for another five years.
Willems’ current contract expires on December 31, 2018.
He joined the Executive Board in 2006.
Auguste Willems studied bioscience at the University of Leuven (Belgium).
After graduating, he joined Henkel, holding various sales and marketing positions.
He then spent several years in Indonesia and the USA, with overall operational responsibility.
In 2002, after Henkel split off its specialty chemicals business, he became Group Vice President of Functional Products at Cognis and a member of Cognis’ Corporate Executive Committee.
In January 2006, Willems was appointed to the Executive Board of Wacker Chemie AG.
