Synthomer plc and Dairen Chemical Corporation have signed an agreement for the exclusive distribution of VAE Emulsion Polymers to the coatings industry in the ASEAN region.
Synthomer’s Mr Derick Whyte, Executive VP Asia commented: "With the addition of VAE emulsion to our existing VAM, acrylic emulsion and alkyd resin product lines, we are excited about the future growth prospects for our coatings and construction business in Asia. Dairen is one of Asia’s leading producers of VAE emulsion and in combination with Synthomer’s application expertise and existing product portfolio we believe this will offer our customers a very broad range of binder solutions to meet their changing needs”.
In his address at the signing, Mr Lin Fu-Shan, President of Dairen Chemical Co Ltd stated: "The finalisation of this agreement with our partner, Synthomer will enable us to achieve more and continue to develop even stronger and better business opportunities in the coatings market”.
