13 June 2014

Coatex has won the prestigious Ringier Coatings Technology Innovation Award in the ‘additives’ category. This distinction rewards the Bumper technology, a flexible technology platform that represents a real breakthrough for water-based paints. The Coadis BR 85 caught the attention of the jury thanks to its efficiency in TiO2 particle dispersion.
The Ringier awards are given annually to a selection of innovative products, technologies or processes. They recognise companies for their contribution to the coatings industry in China, such as technical innovation, improved productivity, economic efficiency and market opportunity creation.
Ringier Technology Innovation Awards are regarded as one of the most important awards in China’s coating industry.

• Meanwhile, Lanxess Bayferrox 303 T won the Ringier Technology Innovation Awards for the Coating Industry for its extreme heat stability and low flocculation behaviour. This is the second time Lanxess Inorganic Pigments business unit has been honoured for this award after its Colortherm Yellow 10 Pigment was awarded in 2011.
